Chemical Property/Description
Pure product is white crystalline solid. Insoluble in water, the solubility in water at 20ºC is 0.25 g/L. Soluble in benzene, soluble in other organic solvents. Its vapor and air can form an explosive mixture, which can cause combustion and explosion in case of open fire and high heat energy. It reacts with oxidizing agents.

Main Uses:

3-Indolebutyric acid  is a widely used plant growth regulator, mainly used as a rooting agent.

Can promote the roots of herbs and woody ornamental plant cuttings. It is often used for root immersion transplanting of woody and herbaceous plants, which can accelerate root growth and increase the percentage of plant roots. It can also be used for seed immersion and seed dressing of plant seeds, which can improve the germination rate and survival rate.

In addition, 3-Indolebutyric acid is an endogenous growth , which can enter the plant through the leaf, the tender skin of the branch, and the seed, and is transported to the functional site with the nutrient flow.
