Q1: What' the communication port?
A1: Default is USB, RS232 and TTL is for optional.

A5: Yes, support adding 10 characters prefix/suffix.

A6: It can work under sunlight, but it's not waterproof, to use the scanner at outdoor, you will need to add a cover for the scanner to protect it in rainy days.
