Product Overview

1. Applications:

The TBQM turbine meters are designed for fiscal or in-plant volume measurement of combustible gases of the first, second and third gas family (natural gas, town gas, propane, butane and others), purified and dried biogas as well as other inert, non-aggressive gases and non explosive gases and gas mixtures.
The TBOM turbine meters are applicable in residential and office buildings, as well as commercial and industrial plants. They are suitable to be installed in hazardous area of Category 2 (Zone 1) ll 2G cllC T4X.

2. Features:

  • Meter size: G65 to G4000.
  • Nominal sizes: From DN50 (2") to DN200 (8").
  • Pressure class: PN10 up to PN100. Class 150 up to 600.
  • Measuring range: 20:1.
  • Housing material: Aluminum,Carbon Steel.
  • Installation: Horizontal installation or vertical installation available.

3. Operating Principle:

The gas turbine meter is a velocity type meter. The turbine wheel rotates when the dynamic gas being accelerated and conditioned by meter upstream section and conguers the mechanical friction and fluid resistance. The rotating rate of the turbine is proportioned with gas flow rate in particular flow range. The turbine rotates and output to the index reading unit which mounted
on external of the body/housing through the decelerating transition mechanism and maenetic coupling connector, thus realize the counting and output of the flow pulse signal (LF or HF).

4. Approvals:

  • MID according EN 12261:2002+A1:2008 "Gas meters -Turbine gas meters" ;
  • 0IMLR137-1&2:2012 "Gas meters";
  • PED, ATEX, lECex approved.
