This automatic monitoring instrument is based on the nation-al standardHI/T 345-2007"Water quality-Determination ofiron -0-phenanthroline spectrophotometry". Ferrous ionsreact with o-phenanthroline to form a stable orange-red com-plex in a solution between pH 3 and 9. The complex has amaximum absorption at 5l0nm and conforms to the Lam-bert-Beer law within a certain measurement range.
