Product Description
Sodium bicarbonate is a white powder or opaque monoclinic fine crystal, odorless, slightly salty in taste, and cool in nature. It is easily soluble in water and glycerol, and slightly soluble in ethanol (some say insoluble). The solubility in water is 7.8 g (18 ºC), 16.0 g (60 ºC), with a density of 2.20 g/cm3 and a specific gravity of 2.208,mainly used in food, feed and industry field.
Sodium bicarbonate is a commonly used food additive, mainly used for fermentation and seasoning. Meanwhile, food sodium bicarbonate also has certain health benefits.

1.Swelling agent: Sodium bicarbonate in food can produce carbon dioxide, promote the expansion and fermentation of dough, and make baked goods such as bread and cake softer and fluffy. The addition of 20g of wheat flour can be used to prepare solid cold drinking foaming agents (producing CO2) together with chlor acid, tartaric acid, etc. Because it is a harmless weak alkaline agent, adding about 0.1% to 0.2% in vegetable cleaning can make it green and stable.
