It is a non-foaming dispersant based on ammonium polycarboxylate. Its excellent dispersing properties not only increase the solid content of emulsion paints but also give the paint good flow and leveling, and minimise colour fouling and sedimentation.H80 can be used in the preparation of pigmented filler slurries such as kaolin, titanium dioxide, white clay, precipitated barium sulphate, light calcium, talcum powder and iron oxide red. The best dispersion effect and the highest pigment content can be obtained by adding H80 to water before adding pigment fillers. The PH of the system should be adjusted to 7.5-10. Preparation of calcium carbonate, talc and iron oxide red, etc. This pigmented filler slurry can be used in various emulsion systems such as nitrile emulsions, styrene-butadiene emulsions, white latexes and acrylic emulsions. The best dispersing effect and the highest pigment content of the dispersed slurry can be obtained by adding H80 to water before adding pigment fillers in the dispersing process.The dispersing efficiency of H80 is higher than that of the conventional dispersants, and the normal dosage is 0.25-1.25% of the weight of pigment fillers.
