Petroleum coke is a product obtained by separating light and heavy oils from crude oil through distillation and then converting the heavy oil through thermal cracking.Petroleum coke is a kind of black or dark gray hard solid petroleum product with metallic luster and porosity, which is granular, columnar or needle-like carbon formed by tiny graphite crystals. Its carbon hydrogen ratio is as high as 18 ~ 24, bulk density is 0.9 ~ 1.1, net calorific value is about 1.5 ~ 2 times that of coal, ash content is 0.1% ~ 1.5%, volatile matter is 3% ~ 16%, which is close to anthracite.
