Down-flow Rotary Kiln:

Counter-flow Rotary Kiln:
Designed for waste with higher moisture content and low flammability, the counter-flow kiln is ideal for sludge drying. It requires higher flue gas temperature and longer contact time for effective drying and volatile water release.
