Process Flow Chart of 50-Ton/Day Maize Flour Milling Machine
1. Raw Maize Intake
  Description: Maize kernels are received and stored in silos.  
  Equipment: Receiving hopper, conveyor belts.
2. Pre-Cleaning
  Description: Initial removal of large impurities (stalks, stones, dust).  
  Equipment: Vibrating screen, air aspirator.
3. Cleaning  
  Destoning: Removes heavy particles (stones, mud).  
  Equipment: Destoner.  
  Magnetic Separation: Extracts metal debris.  
  Equipment: Magnetic separator.  
  Fine Cleaning: Removes residual dust and lightweight impurities.  
  Equipment: Air classifier, sieve.
4. Conditioning/Dampening  
  Description: Moisture (16-18%) is added to soften endosperm and toughen bran for easier degermination.  
  Equipment: Dampening mixer, tempering bin (6-24 hrs resting).
5. Degermination  
  Description: Germ and bran are mechanically separated from the endosperm.  
  Equipment: Degerminator (e.g., Beall-type).  
  By-Products: Germ (for oil extraction), bran (for animal feed).
6. Primary Milling (Coarse Grinding)  
  Description: Degerminated maize is ground into grits.  
  Equipment: Hammer mill or roller mill.
7. Sifting  
  Description: Separates fine flour from coarse particles.  
  Equipment: Plansifter or rotary sifter.  
  Recycle Loop: Coarse particles return to milling.
8. Secondary Milling (Fine Grinding)
