Overview
The UF-PH02-E 2-Channel Telephone with 100M Ethernet over Fiber Optic Extender is used for carrying analog phone and fast Ethernet over fiber optic cable. Telephone over Fiber applications offer a secure connection that is impossible to bug. This Voice over Fiber converter uses RJ-11 modular connectors for each copper pair connection. FXO type unit connects to a telephone line (PSTN) or PBX station line and has ability to detect ringing voltages and to act as a telephone. FXS type unit is the reciprocal unit and has ability to act as PSTN and connects to a telephone device. Using two of these devices, a telephone line can be extended over a fiber link. The UF-PH02-E is a RJ11 to Fiber Optic Converter with a simple and reliable solution for data carriers and service providers for Telephone and Ethernet over Fiber links.
